Black, white and a touch of colour

Just indulged myself in a KCUK ATC swap 🙂
It’s black and white and a touch of colour – and it really is just a touch of colour. I’ve entered these into Theme Thursday’s ATC challenge.

That was fun – now back to work 😦

ATCs – Pink and Brown

Thank you to all who have left comments and especially for the New Year wishes!  Gosh, I really have missed you all 😦
As promised.  This month’s ATC theme for KCUK is pink and brown and here are my offerings – very simple!  I used Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick inks (with a bit of Antique Linen and Versafine Vintage Sepia)  but neither camera nor scanner could find them.  I’ve tried to tweak a bit but can’t get the colours right, so you’ll just have to imagine, he, he!

Christmas ATCs

Staying with the ‘one colour plus white’ theme because it’s easy and quick.  I feel guilty for making such simple cards and ATCs – I like to put a bit more work into them, rather than simply stamping and layering, but hey ho!  Needs must when time is precious…  These have all been clear embossed, then most of them have been cuttlebugged, lol 😉

These are some of my favourite images, so it’s very self indulgent 😀

KCUK ATC Swap – Letters of the Alphabet

Simple alphabet ATCs for the August KCUK ATC swap .
cath alphabet atcs
Skin colour pigment inks applied to ATCs, then image stamped in Versafine and clear embossed.  Little girl’s face and neck masked, then inks added to rest of ATC and the whole ATC embossed with clear EP.  Little ribbon tied through hair.  Super simple and quick, but I may well had a word or two before I think they’re complete.

Just done some ATCs for a KCUK swap. Made a ‘mickey’ with one of them so it became a card for Dot, who’s hosting the swap…

My scanner doesn’t do 3D very well (yes, the charms make them 3D – duh!) so they do look better IRL – as do the gold edges and additions. Haven’t done Egyptian for years and enjoyed it. I even dusted off (literally) my Twinklers for this one – haven’t used those for about 4 years but they’re perfect for this, as they shimmer like sand.

What’s in your Garden…..?

I’m hosting an ATC swap and just did mine (they were due by the end of the month, so only one day late, lol – early for me!) so here they are. I’m not over impressed and really didn’t colour them well, at all. This was the second batch, too – I binned the first lot. WAY too lot and a long time since I stamped – amazing how you lose that ability to know what to put where when, if you don’t keep it up.
